Tutoring approach
My tutoring approach is meeting the individual needs of each individual student. I believe that all students work differently and have their own learning methods whether that is on an auditor, kinaesthetic or visual or the blending of those styles and as a tutor to adapt and create a learning environment that is challenging and proactive.
Professional experience
For eight years I worked within mental health projects as an assessor. practice teacher for students from the Manchester and Salford Universities.
Running alongside this work I have worked and studied in the field of theatre and drama. I am currently working with professionals within the industry as an Actor/supporting artiste and background. I have had the opportunity to study short courses at two major drama schools in the country. I have been with a casting director for two years and have recently been taken on by acting and model agency in London. I have recently completed a PTTLs course in lifelong learning in the field of Drama.
I have also completed a short course in freelance writing from the British college of journalism which requires a strong ethos for detail and accurate information gathering.
I have worked and supervised a small team within a project working with individual who have both learning and mental health needs have a varied education and work experience and transferable skills that may benefit the role of assistant.
