Tutoring approach

My approach is to a solid understanding of the subject while paying close attention to the needs of the individual.
An initial meeting helps me to establish the student’s needs. Based on this I put together a programme of study which aims to fill in gaps in knowledge and address any areas of weakness.

I will set regular homework tasks if I feel it will be benficial – the quantity varying with how much time the student has. I always provide feedback on this in the following session. I believe private tuition works so well not just because of the one-to-one teaching, but because of the relationship between student and tutor.

 

Professional experience

I am very experienced in the areas of Maths, Science and Sport Science and have studied in these areas for a number of years. I have experience teaching children through to adults. I am very passionate about teaching and am very keen to help children and adults to achieve their potential in these areas. I am available evenings and weekends.
