Tutoring approach

I think that the best way to teach students is to make sure that they are engaged and are enjoying what they are learning, so I try to incorporate as many relevant games as possible to keep them having fun whilst studying. However, I also believe that they need to put in the effort to get the results and expect students to work hard in their studies.

I have worked with people that find learning off of lists and essays almost impossible, so I also try and incorporate as many different types of learning, such as kinaesthetic and aural learning into my teaching in order to find out what works best for them.

 

Professional experience

I have worked teaching English at a local English language school in Hong Kong during holidays for the past year, where I was in charge of supervising and teaching classes of up to 25 children between the ages of 4 and 15.

I also have my diploma in piano and have been teaching private lessons for the past year during term times for those who want to learn casually, so when it comes to tutoring in music, I know exactly what I'm talking about.
