I have been a Physics Demonstrator at the University of Oxford since 2009, accumulating more than 1000 hours of experience up to now. I have also acted as a Private Tutor for 10 years now, teaching Physics, Maths and French at University and high-school level.
I believe that there are no complicated problems, but just many simple problems, for which there are simple solutions. One must merely solve each simple problem at a time. This is where the Tutor intervenes: to teach the students methods on how to solve problems and to build self-confidence and offer reassurance that the student is on the right track.
