I have been teaching English, Chemistry and Mathematics to high-school students for 10 years. I usually like to build on the good communication with the students and explore their learning style to adjust the lessons to that. I believe the student is alwasy more willing to commit to a lesson if they are having some fun along the way, so it is OK to share a joke occationally. I have been teaching online for the past two years. I am in the process of getting a DBS via the University of Birmingham as I am a PhD student in Science Education. overall, I would say that I want the lessons to be relaxed, however, I motivate my students to always reach the top of their potential. It is a balance act and I am aware of it, but I have some experience at it, by now
