I believe that rapport is the most important aspect to successful learning and thus, building rapport is first and foremost in any teaching scenario. Interest is also vital; every student comes with their own levels of interest and understanding of a subject and I look to build on those (and other) interests to create sustainable motivation over time. It is my belief that 'natural intelligence' or the 'ability to study' are both myths, and the reality is that anybody who likes (or even loves) what they study, will succeed. My job is to make sure this passion continues to grow in the right direction.
Professional experience
Having lived in Thailand, Spain, Italy, Greece and China, I have taught English (language, literature and creative writing GCSE and A level), Spanish and Italian privately. I am fluent in four languages (Spanish, Italian, Mandarin Chinese and English) and am currently studying a master's degree in educational psychology at Cambridge University. I love to learn, and to share what I learn with others.

You will meet your tutor in our online classroom, where you will see each other via video, hear each other and be able to upload documents and draw on a whiteboard.
