I'm a First Class (BA) Hons English Literature graduate, and was awarded 3 A*s at A-Level in English Literature, English Language (full marks) and Psychology (full marks). I am dedicated to teaching students the valuable expertise to set them apart from the majority - in exams, assignments and a general overall enhancement of their English skills across all subjects which require a solid command of English. I tailor my services and teaching strategies to each student's needs, in a relaxed and friendly environment.
I am fully advanced DBS checked and have had experience working with young students, as I am greatly enthusiastic about the subjects that I teach, and I believe that a combination of quality teaching, interesting learning strategies and clarity, can crucially enhance any student’s grades.
Professional experience
I have had 1 year's experience as a University Ambassador, tutoring students from Year 6 through to undergraduate level in subject areas of English Literature, English Language and Creative Writing. I have also had 1 year's experience as a private tutor. As a Freelance Proofreader, I have excellent grammar, spelling and syntax skills. I have often been requested to proofread and edit student essays, job applications/personal statements and professional documents e.g. medical research papers for medical students .
