I am very patient, caring and approachable tutor. I always try my best to explain the work in many different ways until it is understood by the student. I put a great deal of emphasis on students understanding the underlying concepts rather than just imarting knowledge. I believe that all students have a potential to learn and achieve and I always try to help and encourage them to realise their full potential.
Professional experience
I am a retired, qualified teacher with 37 years of experience teaching GCSE and IGCSE maths, physics , general science and A-Level Physics and mechanics in three different schools. I have also been tutoring students in Maths and physics for over 16 years. Over these years I have developed techniques in teaching different levels and abilities, differentiating work to help the weaker students while at the same time stretching the brighter ones.
