Tutoring approach

My name is Stephanie! I have a BA (Hons) degree studying the History of Art - which is my predominant subject area, along with practical Fine Art GCSE and A-Level qualifications. Whilst studying my degree, I completed two thirteen-thousand word dissertations, completed a journalism internship with a competitive institution, as well as undertaking basic editorial experience from the company's Editor-In-Chief. As consequence, I hold my eye for detail, in regards to spelling and grammatical errors, in high regard and would provide wonderful tutoring in the English Language and Literature area; I received an A* in both subjects at GCSE.

After continuing the subject of Music to AS Level, I can help with GCSE tutoring for this area; as I have a Grade 6 in piano, along with having basic practical knowledge of playing the flute, violin, cello and the guitar. I have also qualified with an A Level in Biology and Psychology (a personal favourite of mine), and would offer tutoring in these two subjects.

In the past I have worked with children from the ages of 11-14 as a general counselor and tutor for KS3 work, with this experience excelling my interpersonal skills and problem solving mentality to provide excellent tutoring for children. Beginning in September 2014, I will begin my Masters in Research in Art and Design at Liverpool John Moores University.
