I believe that the core of mathematical concepts is always extremely simple and aesthetically pleasing. Once the student unlocks his own abilities, he can have phenomenal success. I adopt this approach and it is not unusual to change diametrically the maths viewpoint of a student.
Professional experience
I am a very experienced Mathematics specialist. I have taught Mathematics at every level, high school to university students. Analysis Real and Complex, Algebra, Probabilities, Statistics, Operational Research,Calculus, Numerical Analysis, Financial Maths etc. I have a passion for maths, have written books on Analysis and Mathematics Competitions. I prefer challenging, searching students who seek the essence behind the strict mathematical formalism,but certainly I can help anyone armed with a will to learn. Last, but not least, all this interdisciplinary experience gives me a powerful base for helping students.
30 years of tutoring, including students from UK universities, Oxford-Brookes, Edinburgh, Kent in Higher Maths, I have written books in Real and Complex analysis ( in Greek) and exercises for mathematical competitions (in English)
I have Bsc in mathematics and Masters in Banking and Finance. I have taught Financial Management for institutes of professional education.Also taught for Cambridge STEP exams, Oxford MAT exams and IB Maths and tutored for Cass Business School in London.
