I believe that the solution to any problem can be reached with a good and productive relationship between student and tutor. I am enthusiastic about offering my assistance to students and I firmly believe my steady and friendly approach to tutoring alongside the correct experience and relevant knowledge will result in a hugely beneficial experience for the student. I am flexible in my approach, in that if the student is not satisfied with how the lessons are going I will adapt to the situation as best deemed necessary.
Professional experience
Aged 18 at The Skinners' Grammar School in Kent, I was part of a programme which offered assistance in Maths and English for GCSE level students. This programme lasted for the academic year and proved to be extremely successful with similar programmes running since the link was established in 2011. I was also part of the Geography prefect team in my final year which offered assistance to geography students aged 11-17. Recently I have undertaken a programme which aims to teach English to refugees which have come to Nottingham. This experience has profoundly aided my tutoring capabilities to a wide range of audiences.
