The more information you provide, the more personalised our recommendations become. The key things to include are subject, level, exam board, budget, availability and number of weekly hours required.
The tutors will respond through the TutorTap website and you will get an email notification to let you know when you have received a response. You will then be able to read the message in your TutorTap inbox and respond. Please make sure that you have confirmed your account otherwise the notification emails may go to your spam folder. If you have not received the account confirmation email when you signed up, it may also be in your spam folder.
All of our lessons take place online in our state of the art virtual classroom. Once a time and date is agreed for your lesson, you will be able to add credit to your account and book a slot in the tutors' calendar by clicking the 'book' button on their profile. Once the lesson is booked, a 'Go to Classroom' button will appear on the home section of your dashboard and this will lead you to the online classroom when you are due to start.
Our tutors are a mixture of high achieving university students, recent graduates and professional educators. They have all been carefully selected to ensure that they are qualified to teach the subject they list, with excellent communication skills and experience to reflect their hourly rates.
Our free trials are 15 minute slots where you are able to meet your tutor in our online classroom and get to know each other for free. Our tutors often take the time to find out more about the areas you need help and it provides an opportunity to make sure that the tutor is right for you before you book a paid lesson.
Our tutors set their own rates and availability. Over half of our tutors charge £15 per hour and over 80% fall under the national average hourly rate.
